The Nevada State Library and Archives (NSLA) offers an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) program to Nevada governments and their employees, for borrowing library materials which are not available at their local libraries. Materials are sent from one Nevada library to another, or are obtained from out-of-state libraries when necessary. ILL services at the NSLA were created by the Nevada Legislature in 1951. The authorizing legislation is found in the Nevada Revised Statutes at NRS 378.080, sec. 3(a). NSLA will also lend materials to out-of-state libraries that adhere to the National Interlibrary Loan Code. NSLA ILL Policies
NSLA supports Nevadans' access to library materials via cooperative agreements between Nevada libraries, regional library networks, and a national library utility called OCLC (Online Computer Library Center, Inc.). Our OCLC code is NVT.
