The entry page for these tables is a list of geographies within Nevada: State, County, Congressional District, Place. Remember that for Nevada, County = School District. Click on the geography for which you need information. Four Demographic Profiles (DP) are available: DP-1.Demographic, DP-2.Social, DP-3.Economic, and DP-4.Housing. Each DP is a compilation of many separate tables from Census 2000. The output includes both numbers and percents for each element. These four DP’s present a quantitative description of an area and provide a valid and consistent means for comparison between areas. For assistance with these DP’s or for questions on other available Census information, contact the Nevada State Data Center, 775-684-3326. These figures were compiled from the US Census Bureau’s Decennial Census and have no copyright restriction. Best Practice recommends that you cite US Census Bureau, the data source, such as American Community Survey or Decennial Census, the data Date, and the Table number. You are free to use the figures as they best meet your needs.
