 the sum of $14,000 Fourteen thousand dollars in Two years with interest theron semiannually then this deed as also certain notes of hand bearing even date herewith given by the said J & E Reese & co to the said Johnathan Reese - Thomas H. Burress - Cornelius Eggbert - Rosanah Byrnes - Rebeca Monroe - & Michel Frintz to pay the said sum with interest at the time aforesaid shall both be void. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 10th Tenth day of February A.D. 1855 Eighteen hundred and fifty five
