Know all men by these presents that I Julius Peltier of Carson Valley Utah Territory in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to me in hand paid by George Fogle of the afforesaid valley & territory the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and quitclaimed, and by these presents do bargain sell and quitclaim unto the said George Fogle and to his heirs and assigns forever all my right title interest estate claim and demand both at law and in equity and as well in possession as in expectancy of in and to one equal and undivided half of that certain piece or parcel of land situated in Jacks Valley being and known as the ranch claimed and located by Samel Blackford; of which
