To any Constable of said valley greetings; The people of Carson Valley command you to summon Thos Knott to appear before me the undersigned one of the Justices of the peace of the valley of afforesaid at my office in the said valley on the 24 day of Aprl at 12 O clock in the forenoon to answer the com Henry McCalla in an action arising on contract to his damage one hundred and sixty five dollars and nintyfour cents; and have you then there this receipt; Witness my hand the 21st day of Aprl 1854 J.C. Fain J.P.
