in Carson Valley March 28th 1853 by J.H. Haynes Surveyor;
for the sum of Six hundred Dollars to us in hand paid by the said William B. Thorington as follows namely one Note for the Cutting of one hundred and twelve thousand and five hundred feet of Lumber in the logs and one hundred and fifty in cash for which we agree to give and Deliver to the said Thorington peaceble possession of the said Land within Described
Given under our hands this fifth day of October 1853
