Survey of land taken up in Carson Valley by Leonard M. Young & James Green Commencing at the Edg of the Sage Brush Bordering on the mountain on the South Line of Land taken up by Haynes & Barney runing thence north 55 ° East one mile to A stake standing on the said Haynes & Barneys south line thence South 35 ° East one mile to A stake standing on the valley thence South 55 ° west one mile to A stake standing in the Sage Brush thence North 35 ° West to the place of begining as Surveyed July 22nd 1853 by J.H. Haynes
