The following resolutions were then submitted for consideration and adopted by general consent viz
Resolved 1st
That touching land claims and other matters, the following shall stand as rules to govern this community (that is to say). There shall be a competent Surveyor employed, whose buisness it shall be to survey and platt the various claims according to the legal standard of the United States
2nd
There shall be a Recorder and Treasurer appointed, whose buisness it shall be to record the claims of individuals (in books supplied for that purpose) to receive and account for all fees paid in by persons laying claims, and issue certificate of claim on demand to those
