Burton Franklin Williamson
Burton Williamson was executed at the Nevada State Prison on November 21, 1939. Williamson killed his wife Pauline on August 27, 1939 outside a dance hall near a CCC camp at Salt Wells, Churchill County, Nevada. He accused his wife of "chippying around." At his trial a month after the crime, Williamson pled guilty; he was executed two months later. Williamson, a 43-year-old Utah native, listed his occupation as gambling dealer.
