Stanko Jukich
Stanko Jukich was executed at the Nevada State Prison on May 21, 1926. His crime was killing Jennie Medak on February 14, 1925. Medak's mother ran the boarding house where Jukich lived when Jennie spurned his affections to become engaged to a man in Washington. Jukich, born in Yugoslavia on December 23, 1896, was employed as a miner in Ruth, White Pine County, Nevada.
