John Hall

John Hall was executed in the Nevada State Prison on November 28, 1932. The 53-year-old native of North Carolina, whose real name was Everette Mull, was convicted of murdering John C. O'Brien on June 15, 1931. John Hall and John O'Brien were in the bootlegging business in Clark County, Nevada, and Hall believed O'Brien had been stealing from him. While riding in the O'Brien car together, along with their wives, Hall shot O'Brien five times in the back and beat Mrs. O'Brien with his revolver. The Halls tried to escape, but were picked up in southern California.
