Theodore W. Gregory
Theodore Gregory was executed at the Nevada State Prison on January 29, 1951. He was convicted of murdering his ex-wife Margaret Tarr in Reno, Nevada on October 8, 1948. Gregory, a barber whose wife divorced him in Las Vegas, reconciled with Margaret and moved into a room adjoining hers in a Reno boarding house. He warned her about dating other men after the promises he thought she had made to him. Early on the morning of October 8, 1948, he found her with another man., who fled the scene. Gregory then shot and killed Margaret Tarr. A native of Ravenden, Arkansas, Gregory was forty-six at the time of his death.
