Nevada State Prison Inmate Case Files Luis Ceja
Luis Ceja was executed at the Nevada State Prison on September 4, 1931. His crime was killing Charlie Fong near Golconda in Humboldt County, Nevada, on June 8, 1930. Fong's death seemed to be the result of a dispute regarding narcotic traffic in Northern Nevada. Both men were heavy drug users and Ceja claimed Fong pulled a gun so he stabbed him in self-defense. Ceja, a 28-year-old native of Mexico, listed his occupation as pantryman.
