Virginia and Gold Hill Water Company Records
Cedar Hill
Cedar Hill was both a geographical feature at the north end of Virginia City and a water company. Cedar Hill was a small hill north of Cedar Ravine and the site of early mineral discoveries. It was also the name of a water company, an early rival to the Virginia and Gold Hill Water Company. The V&GHWC very early bought many parcels of land and water rights in that region. In addition to the deeds listed specific to this series, there are additional Cedar Hill deeds in the last two series of this collection.
