NSLA Imaging & Preservation Services PDF Print

A Full-Service, Low-Cost Program Serving State and Local Governments’ Imaging and Microfilm Needs

scanner.jpgNSLA’s Imaging and Preservation Services provide high-quality scanning and film capture of essential government documents at significant savings to client agencies.  The program also provides on-site surveys; consultation on appropriate media storage; and the production of CDs, fiche and roll film to increase the efficiencies and cost-effectiveness of records management for all client and prospective client agencies.

disks.jpgWe specialize in storing a wide variety of documents on several different mediums, including microfilm, microfiche, and CD-ROMs. Documents are placed on CD or microfilm as required by NRS 378.255 and 378.280.

We provide a higher level of security for the documents filmed or electronically imaged than would be available through a private vendor.

slide.jpgWe provide services to state and local governments at the lowest possible cost, greatly reducing records storage needs, and allowing for easy retrieval options. A database program can be added to allow quick searching of documents, even if there are millions of documents to search. The database software used by Imaging Services is considered one of the best in this field and allows media to be stored and retrieved efficiently.
